Spacious Garden

For outdoor play and discovery

Children are allowed to go on a discovery tour — inside and outside — in our kindergarten. They can visit their friends in the home groups and participate in various activities across the groups during open work time.

Meaningful and clear rules of use for the different rooms and times are set up. These rules serve to ensure the safe, educational and enjoyable time children spend in each respective area. The areas are open depending on the educational decision of the teachers.

Learning Areas

Within our function rooms there are various learning areas designed to develop different skills and competencies in children.

  • Mathematics and logical thinking
  • Language development and literacy
  • Sensory exploration and perception
  • Creative expression and art
  • Physical movement and coordination
  • Science and experimentation

Home Group

A home group is a group where children have their two teachers and a group of children of the same age. It's a group where children are met, observed and led. It's a group where they are set for a day, plan their days, learn the rules and daily routine.

The children are in a home group during: morning circle, educational activity, lunch and goodbye circle. A preschool group has its preschool work in their home group as well.

Activities Across the Groups & Clubs

To extend the range of experience and thus the learning opportunities, children can use all open areas of the house independently during opening hours. They inform the teacher of their home group and go to the room or activity of their choice.

This is transparent to the educational staff at all times, so it is always possible to know where the individual children are. The children are supervised at all times.

Early care, transition between breakfast and morning circle, free play times, quiet time, afternoon snack, clubs, and late care are the times when children find activities across the groups.
